Warning: The measuring cup should not be "dry-burned," and there must be water in the cup when heating. RECOMMENDATION: Hand-washing is the preferred method, as the dishwasher may potentially affect the markings and cause dry-burning during heating. Ensure that the beaker contains liquid.

Most chemical liquids, such as acids and bases, can be placed in the cup, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid. COMPATIBILITY: The cup is made of high-borosilicate glass, is lightweight, and is suitable for use in the microwave, electric ceramic stove, oven, and refrigerator. It can withstand a Temperature Range of -4 to 302°F (-20° to 150°C). The cup has a capacity of 500 ML [2 CUP] and is made from high-borosilicate glass. It is suitable for use on gas stoves, in microwaves, electric ceramic stoves, ovens, and refrigerators, but is not safe for use in electromagnetic ovens. (Please note that while the cup is dishwasher-safe, it is best to wash it by hand, as dishwashers can affect the measurement markers over time.) The cup has three different measurement scales: Cup, ML, and OZ.
